Welcome to Hotels near Big Ticket Venues.com. This isn't a machine tracking down every major venue on the planet. If you look in the highlighted box in the left column of this page you'll find a list of all the sports venues I've already mapped and provided hotels / accommodations lists for. The list represents several years of mapping and coding so you'll have to excuse me if each page doesn't look as neat and tidy as this one, but you will find your venue and a link to lodgings close by for that special big ticket trip you've been dreaming of for years. It's summer in the north part of the planet and if you're crazy enough to run a gazillion miles in the heat you might need a place for you and your support team to cool your heals before or after the hard slog? Motorsports - Speedway and Circuit Hotels

This is a little more my cup of tea, motorcycle racing mostly, and I've traveled a few beaten tracks on most of the continents of the world over 25 years of pursuing my excitement for racing. See the next entry for more about that. On this site I've divided US Racing venues by Speedways and Street & Road Circuits. But if you're going racing anywhere in the world further than Daytona, you could do worse than visit grand prix cities for Motorsport dates, Travel Guides (100 racetracks and counting) and Motorsport Hotels USA & International for accommodations listings everywhere between Bahrain and Albert Park, Australia to Talladega and Silverstone UK. If you're looking for hotels near other sports and activities check out the boxed menu at the top of the left column (right below the pics). And if your looking for hotels near a concert venue I probably got it but you'll need to refer to the major sport played in that venue, for example for the Staples Center in LA you'll look up basketball

Venues by City or Country?

Now this takes the longest of all, most major US venues are done, find venues by activity in the menu box above) and I'm working my way through other countries. Some of the cities I've done completely are Atlanta Venues, The Miami / Fort Lauderdale, Dallas / Fort Worth and Los Angeles Venues, and Toronto, Ontario Canada Venues For a list of all cities and countries see my Venues - Cities and Countries Directory . Some of the Countries I've done for example are Australia hotels tickets venues, Spain Hotels Tickets Venues, and Sweden Hotels Tickets Venues. However if you can't find it here or if you're having a problem finding suitable choices, anywhere in the world, I can even help you find a place to stay . Just contact me.

Feel free to mention hotels near big ticket venues to your readers. Or perhaps you might add a bookmark on delicious (I forget where the dots go) or some other 2.0 social site. I know it sounds like I'm just trying to line my pockets but each one of these pages is a major project for the benefit of sports fans all over the world so they can more easily get to and enjoy their love. Each of the 2000+ venues on this website is personally researched on google Earth Maps for geo-location and each "hotels near" link is hand written. Wish I knew how to do it via some data base but I don't, so each page, and the website theme is hand coded. Really, I didn't start yesterday. My main site Grand Prix Cities motorsport travel guide is the grand pappy of sports travel websites. If I had a buck for every up and comer who tried to rip off my original content including some major motorsports driver interviews during the 7 years of doing this, I'd be rich enough to stop doing this, but probably still do it b/c in a past life I was, among other things, a Geography major, so I love lists and maps and learning about places. If you do include a link to this site (or to a specific page) write blog entries about it, or even add me to your blog roll (that's what you young folk call it, isn't it?) let me know and if you're a legit sports / travel site, not just someone selling hotels in Ethiopia from a boilerplate hotel template site, I'll gladly link back to you. Either on my links page if you're a generalist site or on my specific sports interest landing site if you're specialized so you can reach fans of your particular passtime.
